Parents of PHS students are welcome to attend (in-person or on Zoom!) and become participants in PHS Board meetings. We actively encourage parent participation and are very happy to see new faces at the meetings. There is only as much commitment as you want to offer. You are welcome to come and observe any time!
To become a voting member of the board, you must attend 3 board meetings and then submit a brief statement to the board to express your intended commitment, strengths you might bring to the board and why you want to join.
During the school year, the board meets on the second Tuesday of most months, beginning at 7 pm. See the calendar for dates of board meetings.
Are you interested in volunteering your time but don't want to make a long-term commitment as a Voting Member of the Poker Hill School Board? There are also many small, short-term tasks that the PHS Board needs help with!
